One of the most beautifully orchestrated things about humans as beings on earth are the ways we communicate. We have so many beautiful and wonderful ways to relay messages to others, to ourselves and to our world around us. Our universe and all the etheric capabilities "like" to pick up on all of our wonderful ways to communicate with one another as well as the spirit realm around us.
We have our mouths which express in words, our bodies which express with formations of expression, our bodies express in the gift of dance, our spirits communicate with outer energetic forces as well as inner ones. These are only a few ways we "express".
How we manifest through our expressiveness and ways of communication have to do with the God/Goddess connection to our heart or what we call the soul of our being. The soul is that part of us which expresses in spiritual, personal, and sometimes abstract ways. I like to think of our heart area as a direct connection to God/Goddess outside ourselves as well as God/Goddess within ourselves. The means by which we manifest depends mostly on our intent or what our attention is upon at that very moment.
Take for instance, if you focus on someone's back for awhile and then that person begins to feel a sensation upon their back. Our intention or attention has been placed in a particular area and therefore made manifest. We can add a componenet of healing and energy to that area and soon the person is feeling a tingle where pain used to be. Sounds very simplistic, doesn't it? Actually it IS very simple.
Take words for example. They can come out one way but made manifest another just by our intent or the attitude of our heart area. We can tell someone how beautiful they are by stating, "You are very beautiful". In words this is just a statement, but when our intent or attitude is placed with them, they become alive. So, if this statement is "sarcastic" in the heart, it is actually coming from maybe jealousy. If the statement is said with pure love, it is a beautiful complement. It all is a matter of attitude and intent of our soulful hearts.
We can state affirmations as often as we desire, but if the attitude or intent of the heart is not in the best manifesting place, we are sowing discord. In the same respect a word which society might deem as "bad" can only be taken that way if the attitude of the heart has discord in it.
An author who write for "Personal Spirituality" which is published by the Association for Research and Enlightenment states, "Spirituality, as a lifestyle rather than as a slogan, thrives or withers on the wings of our attention. Spiritually speaking, attention is more than a matter of keeping a positive attitude. It is also a matter of recognizing the intimate relationship between what we attend to and what makes up the reality of our lives. In our physical reality, we are what we eat. But in our non- material reality, the one in which we live spiritually, we are that to which we attend."
I tend to agree with the writer in this case. If what we desire is TRUE spirituality, we can endeavor to place our attention to where the heart is and not be so concerned with the mannor of expression. If our hearts are filled with love on a daily basis, then our actions will also be filled with love as well as our intent.
